This is latest news from the Board of Education about the appointment of a new Superintendent.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 3RD - TODAY'S SPECIAL BOARD OF ED MEETING IS CANCELLED
Please note that today's special Board of Ed meeting, previously scheduled for 4 p.m., has been cancelled.
Due to abbreviated and vacation schedules at the State Education Department, we were unable to secure the necessary documentation needed to appoint our new superintendent this evening. While the necessary paperwork, we are assured, has been processed and sitting in Albany for at least two weeks, they have no one available to forward it to our BOCES. Our plan now is to appoint Dr. Blanch at our scheduled August 10th meeting.
