Lottery For Senior Affordable Housing

A lottery will decide who gets apartments in the Senior Affordable Housing project under construction in Somers, NY. The two-story project on Route 6 is known as the Mews at Baldwin Place and features 72 one-bedroom apartments. Rents range from $470 to $895, depending on income. The lottery is open to non-Somers residents and the application deadline is April 27, 2011. According to minutes of the Town Board from March 11, 2010, the loop road around the Mews at Baldwin Place is named Clayton Boulevard in honor of Clayton Osborne former Highway Superintendent, Deputy Supervisor, Councilman and School Board member.

Applications for the lottery are at the Town's web site and here. For more information, call the Housing Action Council at 914-332-4144
